The real estate division of THE OTHERLAND GROUP is one of the larger real estate firms in the virtual world of Second Life. We buy virtual land, landscape it, cut it up into conveniently sized plots and resell it to the other residents of Second Life. Some other residents of this virtual world would call the group members Land Barons probably. This is a term nobody in the group likes much, though. It is a business, not a barony. ;)
THE OTHERLAND GROUP only sells fresh land on a "private estate" (land that is not managed by Linden Lab but by us). This means that the group buys whole 256m x 256m areas (complete "sims") directly from Linden Lab and resells the land. The group is not in the business of buying land from other residents. But for now please don't offer us used land.
THE OTHERLAND GROUP specializes in "special" land, extraordinary beautiful sims and parcel that are a joy and a pride to own. You will find some really beautiful waterfront and ocean view parcels for sale, as well as a couple of wonderful mountain areas, green forests etc. If its not land that's a little hard for to sell (because it is so beautiful to own) you probably will not find it here.
THE OTHERLAND GROUP is a long established business in Second Life. It has been founded by a group of avatars in Second Life in October 2005 with a focus on the real estate market of SL.
