High-Area Sims

Some of the land on THE OTHERLAND Archipelago is "special". On these sims the relationship between land area and prims that can be created on the land is different from normal land on the mainland or on other sims. These are the High-Area sims. You get two or four times the area of land here for the same monthly fee - but have to accept a reduced prim count. High-Area Sims are for those who want to have a little more elbow room and live a little more secluded.

Most of this land is designed as islands in the sea. But we have some non waterfront land in the High-Area style, too.

There are two variants available: High Area Sims with 975 prims per 16,384sqm and Mid-Capacity Sims with ca. 1600 prims per 16,384sqm (a little more expensive, of course).

Land on High Area Sims comes in two different parcels sizes typically: 16,384sqm or 32,768 sqm. You can buy a whole sim with a full 65,536 sqm, too, of course and get a prim allowance of 3750. Parcels in Mid-Capacity Sims are always 16,384 sqm large and come with a prim allowance of a little more than 1600 prims. We always sell just one or two parcels in such a sim. This means that you share the whole sim with just one neighbor. The rest of the land is not sold but a protected area kept in its pristine state. This results in a very quiet and serene setting.

WARNING: If you want to create high prim buildings, or want to use a lot of scripted objects on your land, this might not be the right choice for you! Linden Lab has only certified this type of sim for non demanding use.
