THE OTHERLAND ESTATE is the real estate division of THE OTHERLAND GROUP, one of Europes leading consulting firms specializing in virtual worlds.
We are the third largest real estate firm within the virtual world of Second Life, currently, and one of the oldest which is still around. We buy virtual land, landscape it, cut it up into conveniently sized plots and resell it to the other residents of Second Life.

THE OTHERLAND ESTATE currently consists of some 150 regions, most of them reserved for strictly residential use. There is a number of sims at the shore of SLs great ocean, some inland sims with lakes, rivers, hills and mountains and lots and lots of islands in front of the shore.

The OTHERLAND Archipelago is a unique concept in Second Life. It is a group of private sims, a beautiful area, realistically landscaped, reminiscent of RLs most attractive landscapes, free of griefers and excessive lag, with a pleasant neighborhood that makes you feel right at home. And at the same time we optimized the parcels in a way that each one is "special" in its own way.
You won't find large flat areas without structure here. And no cooky-cutter "tropical islands in the sun" neither. We did not optimize our business model for maximum amount of sqm for lowest prices. We optimize for beauty!
