Buying or Renting Land from The OTHERLAND Group

There are many different ways, to own land in Second Life. You can buy some on the "mainland", rent land from other residents there, or buy or rent a parcel on a so called private sim. The OTHERLAND Group does not offer land on the mainland anymore.

Lately we have focused on the development of The OTHERLAND Archipelago, though, for two reasons: it gives us a maximum of freedom in creating a beautiful landscape and it offers our customers the most value for money.

If you want to rent one of our beautiful plots on The OTHERLAND Archipelago and become an OTHERLAND resident, you have to go through four simple steps:

1. Find the parcel you want to make your home
   and inform an OTHERLAND Sales Representative about your choice. Actually, this is the hardest part of all. There is sooooo much beautiful land available on the Archipelago, that it might be very hard to choose.
   
   
2. Select a payment plan.
   There are three available. Standard, Rent only and High Area.
3. Make your first payments right from this website.
   Payments have to made via PayPal. The extremely volatile exchange rate of the L$ and the US$ more or less prohibits us from accepting payments in L$.
   
   
4. Invite one of our officers as an officer into your land holding group.
   (If you don't already have created such a group, you have to create it beforehand.)
   
   We will check, if the payments have been received, "deed" your new parcel to you or your group and leave the group again.
   
   

BTW: You don't need a Premium Account with Second Life to live on the OTHERLAND Archipelago!
